The Glade Park Territorial, completed in 2009, was designed and built by RG Cowan Design Build. The home was built Green through the Colorado Built Green program and certified as Energy Star. Some of the homes features include exposed timber framing and detailing, custom built in bookshelves, tile showers, hardwood floors throughout the first floor, expansive porches, and a custom kitchen with granite countertops.
The energy upgrades that help us achieve a five star Energy star rating and qualify for Built Green Colorado included an ICF foundation system, a super insulated structure (R-23 exterior walls), a ground source heat pump for both heating and cooling and a Heat Recovery Ventilator for improved indoor air quality and increased energy performance.
